Peter Convey Pete Convey is a terrestrial ecologist with 25 years experience of working with BAS and in a wide range of polar environments (15 summers and one winter south, multiple Arctic (Svalbard) field or teaching periods. He has broad and diverse research interests in terrestrial invertebrates, plants and microbes. He has over 250 publications (current H Index 35) on various polar subjects, including ecology, polar ecosystems, climate change (past and future consequences), biogeography, palaeontology, human impacts, conservation and management. Pete would like to gather biological material (invertebrates, plants) for ecological and biogeographic studies (both for studies within the Arctic, but also for studies including the Antarctic in case of bipolar species). He also has an extensive experience with teaching and lecturing. |
