Bas Bolman Bas Bolman is a project leader at IMARES (DLO). He has a background in marine resource management. Currently he leads a variety of programs such as Green Shipping. He also leads the Arctic Development programme of Wageningen University and Research centre. He coordinates the FP7 project COEXIST within IMARES, a project aiming to construct a roadmap towards the integration of fisheries and aquaculture in European coastal zones. His continuous challenge is to integrate production values of marine ecosystems with its natural values. Prior Bas has worked for the Dutch government as a process coordinator, setting up public-private partnerships to work towards innovative techniques for sustainable fisheries and aquaculture. He also has research experience in Chile regarding the concession system of the salmon sector. #NAME? |
